Join the library staff on Thursday at 4:30 
for a book event with Kathleen Hurty, Ph.D., who along with her three co-editors has just published a new book Women, Spirituality and Transformative Leadership (SkyLight Paths). Kathleen will be on hand to introduce the book, read a short selection, and demonstrate sacred circles. Books will be available, too, to buy and get signed by the author. Books are $20 by check or cash. Refreshments of cookies and punch round out an inspiring session!
Kathleen is a teaching fellow in leadership studies at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary, a consultant for the Council for the Parliament of the World’s Religions, and an educator and public speaker.
Booklist gave the book a star rating, and says it’s a “dynamic conversation about women’s spiritual leadership power.”
