Latino Heritage Month on display

The student group “Latinos Unidos”  — dedicated to celebrating Latino and Hispanic culture and heritage — has created a colorful panel display on second floor of the library. Latinos Unidos is active at Augustana and in the surrounding Quad Cities community. They volunteer at local schools and the Boys and Girls Club, and they give presentations to 7th – 12th graders about the importance of a college education. Thanks to Latinos Unidos for the beautiful, informative display!

I think this display is amazingly creative and adorable! Griselda did a great job on making this display!! Its an eye opener for the Augustana community to see how much diversity we have on campus, I’d invite people to actually read about our Latino students. Great job Latinos Unidos, keep up the good work!! =D
