150th Reception, January 14th

2010 marks the sesquicentennial of Augustana College.  In celebration of this momentous occasion, and in honor of the exhibits “You Can Take it With You” and “True Blue and Gold,” the library is hosting a reception on Thursday, January 14th, on the second floor of the library.

We’ll have cake (a Viking helmet cake, you say?) and punch, displays of Augie memorabilia and souvenirs on 2nd floor and in Special Collections, a book signing by President Emeritus Tom Tredway of his new book Coming of Age: A History of Augustana College 1935-1975 (which will also be on sale at the event), announcement of the winners of the photo caption contest (see other blog entries for the photos), and souvenir bookmarks. Join us!
