Are you interested in learning the story behind why Old Main has a dome? Discovering the lyrics to the many “school songs” Augustana has sung over its history? Uncovering the history of Augustana’s use of letter grades, and why it makes Augie distinct? You can do all this in Reflecting on the Past: 150 Years of Augustana Stories, edited by Stefanie Bluemle, Sarah Horowitz, and Jamie Nelson, and published by the Thomas Tredway Library. This book represents the culmination of much of the research that went on during Augustana’s sesquicentennial celebrations; many of the stories included first appeared on the 150th website.
The book is available at the Augustana bookstore in the College Center and through their website. It is also on display in the Tredway Library.
