Today! Come to Special Collections’ Open (Haunted) House!

600-year-old books made entirely from dead animals? A science book written by a spirit from beyond the grave? Ghosts, tricks, and treats that still haunt Augustana’s campus? MURDER?

All this and more can be found at Special Collections’ Halloween Open House! October is American Archives Month, and we’re celebrating by sharing some of our most terrifying and mysterious holdings with you. We’ll have lots of spooky items on display, and you may even meet some ghostly characters from Augustana’s past. Be sure to fill up on cookies and candy while you’re there!

If you can’t make the open house, stop by anytime during our open hours this month to check out our Halloween exhibit, on display in Special Collections until October 31st.

Details about the event are below. We hope to see you there… if you dare!
