60 Years of Space Exploration: Past, Present, and Future

60 Years of Space TravelIn partnership with NASA‘s Glenn Research Center, the Thomas Tredway Library presents its winter exhibit 60 Years of Space Exploration: Past, Present, and Future. This exhibit highlights some of the major developments in space travel from 1958 to 2018 through artifacts from NASA, as well as Augustana’s John Deere Planetarium and Special Collections. On display are a meteorite that landed in Bloomington, IL, gloves that were used to handle lunar samples from the Apollo Moon missions, scale models of spacecraft, an authentic NASA space suit, and more! The exhibit will be up through February 15th.
