Are you curious. . . about becoming a librarian?

pb_be_curious

On Tuesday, September 30 at 5 pm, join other curious students and Augustana librarians on the 2nd floor of Tredway Library to find out about the wonderful and ever changing career of librarianship.  Being inquisitive is one the the most prominent traits of many librarians. Librarians work in many different types of organizations; from public libraries to colleges, elementary schools to corporate giants like John Deere.

We will talk about the student group’s goals for this year which may include a field trip, a book discussion group organized for and by students, and any other ideas that come us. We will also provide links to helpful information about undergraduate classes to take, and finding the best graduate program for you.

Come with your questions – we are always excited to meet students who are curious. If you have questions or are unable to attend but want to know more, contact Connie Ghinazzi at connieghinazzi@augustana.edu.
